User manual: HormoLisse & HormoPause
-
Thank you for choosing one of our IPL hair removal devices designed for home use. For optimal and safe use, please read this manual carefully before using the product.
What is IPL?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a technology that emits high-intensity pulsed light. This light is absorbed by the hair pigment and acts on the follicle to slow down regrowth.
- Regular sessions lead to a gradual decrease in density and regrowth speed.
- The first results generally appear after several weeks of consistent treatment.
- A maintenance phase is necessary to maintain lasting results.
Expected results
- Gradual reduction in the number of visible hairs.
- Finer, lighter hairs that regrow more slowly.
- Softer and clearer skin over the sessions.
Key differences between models
- HormoLisse: designed for hormonal hair growth related to PCOS. It can be used on the face and body (excluding prohibited areas such as around the eyes and mucous membranes).
- HormoPause: developed for hormonal hair growth related to menopause, particularly for treating white and light hairs, and usable on the entire body (excluding prohibited areas).
- Regular sessions lead to a gradual decrease in density and regrowth speed.

5.2 Press the power button for 1 second. The device starts and enters operational mode (the green light turns on and you will hear the system powering up).Notes:
- The red light turns on after startup.
- Then place the flash window on your skin: the red light will start to blink, as a skin contact sensor is integrated into the window and detects the skin when in contact.
- The red light must blink, otherwise the device will not work. If the light does not blink, bring the flash window closer to the skin until it blinks.
- The red light turns on after startup.
-
-
5.3 Briefly press the power button to select the appropriate intensity level.
- The device has 5 intensity levels, indicated by blue lights.
- Level 1 corresponds to the minimum power, and level 5 to the maximum power.
- Each new press allows you to move to the next level in ascending order.
- The device has 5 intensity levels, indicated by blue lights.
-
-
5.4 Once the intensity level is chosen, place the flash window flat against the skin (the surface must completely cover the flash area).- When the red light blinks, press the flash button: the device will emit a single flash.
- After each flash, the red light turns off for 1 to 3 seconds to recharge, then turns back on indicating that the device is ready for use again.
Notes:
- For optimal results, it is recommended to repeat the process 2 to 3 times per area, ensuring to cover the entire surface without omissions or excessive overlaps.
- If the red light stays on without blinking, proceed as follows:
Ensure that the flash window is in contact with the skin.
If the light remains steady, hold the window against the skin for 3 to 5 seconds and check if it starts blinking again.
If the problem persists, restart the device.
If this does not resolve the issue, contact our customer service.
5.5 If the device remains unused for more than 5 minutes, it automatically enters sleep mode.- Simply press the power button to reactivate it.
- Note that upon restarting, the intensity automatically returns to level 1.
5.6 To turn off the device, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
5.7 After use, clean the flash window with a wipe soaked in medical alcohol as recommended.
Note:
After frequent use, small white spots may appear inside the lens.- This is normal and does not affect the operation or lifespan of the device.
- When the red light blinks, press the flash button: the device will emit a single flash.

Hair management process
-
6.1 Test before use
It is strongly recommended to check for any adverse reaction by performing a patch test at least 2 hours before any hair removal session.Testing method:
- Choose a small area of skin on the inside of the arm (inner side).
- Apply 1 to 2 flashes to the same spot, starting with a low intensity and gradually increasing.
- After 2 hours, if you notice redness, burning, sharp pain, or any other abnormal symptoms, do not continue and consult a doctor.
- In case of mild discomfort, use the device at a lower intensity during the next session.
- If discomfort persists, consult a doctor before any further use.
6.2 Usage steps6.2.1 Clean the flash window, then shave the area to be treated and remove any residual hair.
6.2.2 Turn on the device and select the intensity level best suited for hair removal.
6.2.3 After the session, refresh the skin using cold water or a cold, damp towel.
6.2.4 You may apply a toner to help the skin retain its moisture after hair removal.
6.2.5 For suggestions on intensity levels based on skin types and body areas, please refer to the comparison table below.
6.2.6 It is strongly discouraged to use the device multiple times on the same area of skin during a single session.- Do not flash more than twice in a row on the same area.
- When using high energy levels, reduce the frequency of application on the affected area.
- Choose a small area of skin on the inside of the arm (inner side).
-
-
Note:
- Perform 6 to 10 sessions to complete a full hair removal cycle.
- During the first 6 sessions: use the device once a week.
- Then (up to the 10th session): use it once every two weeks.
- If you notice the appearance of new fine hairs after this phase, treat the area once a month to maintain satisfactory results.
- To achieve the best results, it is recommended to treat the areas with thick hair multiple times over a certain period.
- The effectiveness may vary from person to person: when the area shows only about 30% regrowth, you can reduce the frequency of use.
- Perform 6 to 10 sessions to complete a full hair removal cycle.
